The Heartwell Cottage is located in a quiet, residential setting, nestled in the valley between Narragansett Bay and Pettaquamscutt (Narrow) River. A 2-3 minute stroll to a private beach adjacent to a shady, grassy picnic area, offers swimming, building sandcastles, picnicking, or just relaxing and enjoying the serene views of the river, woods, majestic sunsets, and a variety of wildlife, including an occasional deer gracefully roaming the opposite shoreline. For the more adventurous, there is a path through the woods to Domenic Christoforo Park with tennis and basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields, and a childrens playground.
